My mom and I found "the dress" today!
I went dress shopping with one of my bridesmaids, Anna, on Saturday and we thought we might have found the dress. So I got excited took pics and emailed them to the rest of my bridesmaids and of course my mom. Turns out my mom didn't like the one I was thinking of getting -- which completely bummed me out, but I did see her point about not looking quite "Bride" enough on me. So.... we tried on a few more, none of which I remotely liked. I was feeling like I was never going to find "it" and should just settle for a paper bag! Then, on one final sweep thru the racks.... I found it and on clearance! When I put it on with the veil and the water works began; my mom and I both cried. It was "the dress"
It's funny b/c the Dress ended up being the perfect combo from the two dresses I really loved. The first fancy/ornate dress that was just out of my price range, and the second very simple dress. AND it was the last one they had in my size b/c it has been discontinued, so it won't be every other brides dress next yr!
It was meant to be that I went and found it today, b/c on Saturday when I looked it wasn't on clearance yet and I would never had been able to afford it. Perfect Timing !
